Harry Coumnas Shares the Story Behind His Successful Missions to Mars
Harry Coumnas is a renowned astronomer from West Indies known for his successful missions to the red planet - Mars. The celestial bodies always captured his attention since he was a small child. Just by closely looking at and observing the celestial bodies such as the moon, planets, comets, stars, and asteroids; Harry could reveal a great deal of information about them at a tender age of around 8-9 years.
Harry Coumnas was born to a farmer in a poor family. He started his formal education quite late and usually helped his father in the farms. Since he had great interest in the celestial bodies, he created a telescope using broken objects that he found near an abandoned castle in his village. People said that the castle belonged to a wealthy king that had a huge laboratory where he performed many science experiments. One day, Harry and his friends visited the castle. While many backed out and ran away out of fear, Harry continued to explore the castle and found a key that had “MARS” carved on it. The key turned out to be of the king’s science laboratory. Harry decided not to share it with anyone and continued visiting the castle laboratory and performing different experiments according to the instructions that he found in the books in the lab.
Harry Coumnas, who has just returned from his fifth mars mission this week, gives the credit for his achievements to the several experiments he had done in the abandoned castle. He is now planning to revamp the castle and transform it into a science museum. This would be his tribute to the king of the castle who was not only rich but also possessed extensive knowledge of the solar system.
